No service fee on top, no deposit, nothing charged before the job is done. Pay the repairman in cash, or by GCash when you mark the job done. On GCash jobs a small fee comes out of the repairman's payout — and they see exactly how much before they send the offer.

- Cash jobs: no commission. Quote ₱1,500, collect ₱1,500. No monthly fee, no charge for sending offers.
- GCash jobs: fees shown up front. The offer screen shows the repairman their take-home before they send it — never a surprise after the job.

Your address is not public
Job listings show only your barangay and a rough distance. The exact address unlocks for one repairman — the one whose offer you accepted. That rule is enforced by the database itself, not just the app.
Profiles you can actually check
Every repairman has a public profile: jobs completed, rating from real customers, skills, and how fast they usually reply. Repairmen are rated by the people who hired them — they never rate you back, so an honest review costs you nothing.
A window to raise a problem
When a repairman marks a job done, you get 48 hours to confirm or open a dispute before it closes. Chat history and before/after photos stay attached to the job as a record.

Questions people actually ask
Is KuyaFix available yet?
Not publicly. We're finishing the Android beta. It will cover the Philippines from day one — walang hihintaying city rollout. Join the early-access list and we'll message you the moment it opens.
How do I pay?
Cash or GCash — either way, only after the job is done. Nothing is charged up front. You pick how you'll pay when you accept an offer.
Cash: check the work, confirm it in the app, then hand over the payment. GCash: check the work, tap *Done — pay with GCash*, and approve the exact price in your GCash. No fees are added on top for you either way.
What if the repairman doesn't show up, or the repair fails?
Since you pay only after confirming the work, a no-show costs you nothing. If a job was marked done but the problem is still there, open a dispute from the job screen within the 48-hour confirmation window — the chat log and photos are attached automatically.
Are repairmen employees of KuyaFix?
No. Repairmen are independent workers who use KuyaFix to find jobs. We're the meeting place and the record of what was agreed — we don't employ repairmen, set their prices, or do the repair ourselves. Full detail is in the Terms of Service.
Who can see my home address?
While your job is open, nobody — the listing shows your barangay and an approximate distance only. The full address is released to a single repairman at the moment you accept their offer, because they need it to get to you. More in the Privacy Policy.
Can I cancel after accepting an offer?
Yes. Cancelling more than 4 hours before the agreed schedule is free. Later than that — or after the repairman has already started — a late-cancellation fee applies, because someone turned down other work to hold that slot. The exact amount is shown before you confirm.
What does "Kuya" mean?
It's Filipino for older brother — and what you'd naturally call the guy who comes to fix your aircon. That's the tone we're going for: someone reliable from the neighbourhood, not a faceless call centre.
